Did you know…
Studies show that when people feel cared for and connected to other people, they are happier, healthier and less likely to have emotional challenges.
One act of kindness not only affects the people doing and receiving the kind deed but at least two other people.
Safe, stable, and nurturing relationships build resilience in individuals and communities.
When people feel connected and cared for it not only affects them, but they can and do pay it forward.
Together we can make a difference!
Imagine a world where every single person knows that they have a group of people that really care about them! We invite children, youth, adults and elders in our region to Be the One for others and to share stories about the people in their lives who have inspired them and made a difference.
“Never believe that a few caring people can’t change the world.” – Margaret Mead
